CANADA/AIRPORT--This summer for the very first time, Sunwing Vacations will offer holiday packages to St. Maarten from Vancouver. Available weekly from May 18 to August 24, via Toronto, the tour operator offers West coast travellers easy access to St. Maarten, described by the airline as a “tropical island of contrasts.”
Along with exploring St. Maarten this summer, residents of Vancouver could also take advantage of two other flight connections from Vancouver to the Caribbean. Commencing May 21 and operating until August 27, a new Saturday service via Toronto will connect vacationers with the sandy beaches of Jamaica.
Sunwing will also be offering the popular Vancouver connection (via Toronto) to Punta Cana for a second summer season running; beginning with a Thursday weekly service with departures between May 26 and August 25, and rising to a twice weekly service with the addition of a convenient Sunday departure between June 13 and August 28, 2016 inclusive.
