The pre-Carnival lighted jump-up parade.
ST. EUSTATIUS--A pre-Carnival lighted jump-up parade which wound through the streets of Golden Rock on Sunday attracted a large crowd.
The show featured the musical talents of Genillio “Show Time” Hassell, Tardius “T-Time” Fleming and others, who had the crowd jamming on their music.
Food and drinks were on sale at the event, which was a fundraiser for the Junior Carnival Queen Show/Little Miss Statia competition which will take place on July 23.
Another pre-Carnival event, Sjudiez Model and Fashion Show fundraiser for the Multimix Carnival troupe, will be taking place at 318 Right Field on Paramiraweg, today, Thursday, 7:00-11:00pm. Show organiser Sjudi Redan said it will feature a multitude of Carnival-inspired outfits as well as the latest fashion. The show will feature Turbulannzz band, DJ Pleasure, Showtime and others.
