WEATHER:  This afternoon through Monday midday: Partly cloudy and breezy with a local shower possible.

SURFACE WINDS:  This afternoon through Monday midday: Easterly with a moderate to fresh breeze of 14 to 22 miles per hour and higher gusts.

SYNOPSIS:  The strong Atlantic high pressure system will provide brisk easterly winds and suppress any significant rainfall across the local region. However, a patch of clouds moving in that wind flow may cause a local shower during this forecast period.   Seas have begun to gradually subside and will continue to do so through the week. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to maintain caution.
