School principal’s trial scheduled for March 30

PHILIPSBURG--C.H. (51) will have to answer for his alleged inappropriate involvement with one of his pupils some time in 2015 during his upcoming trial on March 30. The long-time religious primary school head was arrested at his home in Dawn Beach on Friday, December 4, 2015, at approximately 8:05am.

The arrest was the result of an investigation that began September 18, 2015, when a house search was carried out by the Judge of Instruction, the Prosecutor and investigating police officers.

Numerous electronic devices were confiscated during this search for further investigation. New evidence of sexual misconduct arose during an in-depth examination of the confiscated items leaving the Prosecutor no other option than to arrest the suspect. C.H. remains in custody for further investigation.

Anyone who may have information pertaining to or needs any assistance in connection with this case may call the Court of Guardianship’s crisis-line 918 at any time and the phone numbers 542-4110 and 542-4115 during office hours.
