Royal Anguilla Police Force investigating 4 shooting incidents

ANGUILLA--The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) on Monday, November 30, responded to three firearm-related incidents within a period of minutes.

  The reports of shots being fired came from Long Ground, Little Harbour and Stoney Ground in the evening at 10:34, 10:35 and 10:38, respectively. In the Long Ground and Little Harbour shootings there was damage to dwelling houses including to doors and windows, but there were no reports of injuries.

  The police are also investigating another shooting incident which occurred on Sunday, November 29, in Rey Hill at about 7:15pm, when a motorist received injuries to his lower body that were described as non-life threatening.

  The Police continue to investigate these incidents and are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the areas at the time of the shootings and may have witnessed something, or have any information regarding the events.
