Lt. Colonel Sébastien Manzoni and new Secretary-General of the Préfecture Michaël Dore lay a wreath in the Gendarmerie headquarters, La Savane, to honour Gendarmes in France who lost their lives during the course of their duties.
The national ceremony with names of each deceased Gendarme read out took place on Friday with a full military honour guard.
