Readers parade

Asha Stevens Hillside Christian School hosted its annual book week with the theme “Reading Safari.” Throughout Book Week pupils participated in various reading and literacy activities including spelling bees, reading exchanges with other schools on the island, digital story creations, pajama reading day and lots of guest readers from the community. The children ended their Reading Safari Book Week with a parade through Philipsburg to showcase some of the stories they had read. Pupils presented Minister of Education Wycliffe Smith a token at the Government Administration Building towards the end of the parade. The school management and staff thank all those who contributed to the success of their Book Week events and look forward to their continued support in the future.
