Lingering moisture and instability associated with a weak tropical wave and low-level trough will account for increased cloudiness, isolated showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across the region.
Meanwhile, a reduction in Saharan dust is expected today. Thereafter, it is expected to be present, in varying concentrations throughout the week. Persons with allergies and respiratory illnesses should continue to take the necessary precautions.
