SYNOPSIS:  

The dominant Atlantic high pressure system will continue to generate brisk winds across the region. Patches of low-level clouds embedded in the wind flow may cause a few passing showers.

 

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for St. Maarten. Seas are peaking near 8 feet, and expected to remain rough through the end of the week. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution.

 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate to rough    
WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
