SYNOPSIS:  
Dry and stable air across the northern part of the region will aid in restricting shower activity. However, by late Thursday into Friday, moisture and instability associated with an approaching tropical wave will increase the probability of showers and thunderstorms across the local area.   

Slight to moderate seas are expected with waves peaking near 6 feet today. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
