Prime Minister Marlin meets with Dutch Minister for Interior and Kingdom Relations Plasterk

GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – On Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Hon. William Marlin continued with his working visits in The Hague, the Netherlands when he met with Minister of Interior and Kingdom Relations Hon. Ronald Plasterk.

Prime Minister Marlin described the discussions with the Dutch Minister as fruitful, and views were exchanged on issues such as the financial situation of the country, the Integrity Chamber, and making it possible for students abroad to vote as well as about electoral reform.

Earlier in the week both Ministers had met for dinner at the Hilton Hotel in The Hague. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Sint Maarten's Minister Plenipotentiary, Hon. Henrietta Doran-York.
