PHILIPSBURG--Due to developments on the international market during which the prices of crude oil experienced downward adjustments for unleaded gasoline and for diesel fuel, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT) announced Sunday it has decided to decrease the maximum consumer prices at the pumps for these types of fuel.
As of Tuesday, August 27, at 6:00am the maximum price of unleaded gasoline will go down by 11.5 cents from the current price of NAf. 2.036 per litre to the new price of NAf. 1.921 per litre, the TEATT ministry stated in a public announcement pertaining to the price change in petroleum product.
Also, on Tuesday, the price of diesel fuel will be reduced from NAf. 1.587 to the new price of NAf. 1.524 per litre, TEATT said.
