ANGUILLA--The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which occurred on Friday, December 11, at about 12:30pm that resulted in two persons being hospitalised with gunshot wounds.
The incident occurred whilst the victims and other labourers of a private company carrying out tasks for LIME were working along the main road. Shots were suddenly fired at the unsuspecting victims by the assailants who later fled the area on foot. The actual injuries to the victims were not detailed.
As the Police continues the investigation into this matter they are appealing to members of the public who may have been in Blowing Point, and may have witnessed this shooting incident or have any information regarding it to contact the Valley Police Station with such information at tel.264-497-2333 and asks for the Criminal Investigation Department or to speak to any police officer of their choice.
