PHILIPSBURG--Police arrested a man S.B. on Sunday during a routine traffic control for not being able to present documentation for the vehicle he was driving.
Police reported on Wednesday that the man had been stopped and requested to produce his driver’s licence and insurance documents for the vehicle.
Officers said the suspect could not give an acceptable statement about who the rightful owner of the vehicle was.
He was arrested on the spot, taken to the police station and kept in custody for questioning.
