PM does her part

Even Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin participated in this year’s SXM DOET project on Saturday and joined a group of civil servants who volunteered their time at Oranje School by planting a number of fruit trees, vegetables and flowers to enhance the overall learning environment at the primary school in Philipsburg.

“On behalf of the Government of St. Maarten and the Council of Ministers I commend the organisers of SXM DOET for their efforts to make meaningful change annually on the island,” said the Prime Minister on Sunday.
