Animal Welfare Foundation reminds vehicle owners to donate their old licence plates to the AWF Shop at Dock Maarten. The plates are sold as one-of-a-kind souvenirs to island visitors, especially cruise passengers who walk past the shop on their way to and from Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise and Cargo Facilities.
Kathy Deher of AWF said visitors are very happy to purchase the plates. The funds collected from the plates and other items sold in the shop are used to support the foundation’s spay-and-neuter project, amongst others. Deher reminds the community: “Every dollar counts!” (Rajesh Chintaman photo)
