Piling up in Pelican

Several residents of Billy Folly Road adhered to Government’s call last month to put out their trash and other debris for collection as part of a country-wide clean-up before the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. However, their industrious efforts have been in vain as weeks after items they placed outside their yards are still awaiting collection. Several calls have been made by residents to the Ministry of Environment VROMI and to the collection company about the need to send a collection crew, to no avail. (John Halley photo)
