Payment arrangement for additional tax assessments

Payment arrangement for additional tax assessments

SABA/ST. EUSTATIUS--Soon a large number of companies in Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba will be subject to an additional tax assessment for not (fully) paying the wage tax (“Loonbelasting LB”) and the general spending tax ABB declarations of the first and second quarters of 2020.

This additional after-tax assessment states that the outstanding amount must be paid before the October 16, 2020, deadline.

Companies that have requested a postponement of payment in connection with the COVID-19 crisis have already been granted a postponement until October 31. These companies have also received this additional tax assessment because no postponement of payment can be given without such.

Companies that have already requested a postponement of payment can contact the Caribbean Netherlands Tax Department to make appropriate suitable payment arrangements. They do not have to pay before October 16.

Companies that have not yet requested a postponement but would like to do so can also contact the tax office by email via
