Partygoers enjoy Sunday Brunch

BEACON HILL--El Zafiro Restaurant was transformed into a Sunday Soca Brunch by Kalaboom Events on March 25. The Road to Carnival event started at 11:00am with a brunch. Patrons were dressed in full white while deejays and food made the event an enjoyable fete.

Kalaboom said on Sunday that the event was a success and attendees continue to compliment the team for organising something different and fun. Carnival troupes Xcape the Band, Island Revellers and Tropical Carnival stopped at nothing to present their Carnival costumes for persons who attended the brunch.
After the food settled at 2:00pm, partygoers were treated to an all-soca party until 9:00pm. "We loved the energy and hope to have this as an annual event," stated organisers.
Kalaboom thanked El Zafiro for the venue and St. Maarten Carnival Foundation (SCDF) for its support and for making the first edition one to remember. The next event, the annual Bacchanal Sunday wet fete show, will take place during Carnival.
