Now 14 confirmed  cases in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD--Epidemiologist Izzy Gerstenbluth confirmed today during the daily briefing that Curaçao now has 14 cases of the COVID-19 virus.

According to the doctor 223 have been tested up to now, of which 14 were positive, seven are safe, one has died, one is still in the hospital and five are isolated.

From those who returned to the island after the anti-coronavirus were announced, 120 are still in quarantine and being monitored by the Health Department.

Gerstenbluth also indicated that two days before getting symptoms people are already contagious, research has shown. Therefore, everyone should stay at home as much as possible.
