New nationality

Four persons in St. Eustatius obtained Dutch citizenship during a naturalization ceremony on Thursday afternoon in the presence of Deputy Government Commissioner Mervyn Stegers (centre).

The new Dutch citizens were congratulated and advised to wait two weeks before proceeding to the Civil Registry to request their passport. They should not wait for a year, as then they would have to start the entire naturalization process again.
