New Justice Minister to be sworn in today

HARBOUR VIEW--The last member of the William Marlin Cabinet will take the oath of office before Governor Eugene Holiday today, Tuesday, at 9:30am.

Edson Kirindongo has been vetted as a Minister candidate, based on the pertinent regulations concerning the appointment of Ministers. The vetting has not produced any data that could impede his appointment and swearing-in, according to a press statement from the Governor.

Kirindongo will be the seventh member of the Marlin Cabinet that took office on November 19. The new Justice Minister will have an eight-month term in office, as snap elections are scheduled for September 26.
