Mobile Prevention Program

On Tuesday both mobile units went into the St. Peter’s Community from 4:00 -8:00pm to offer FREE Health Screenings. 55 people registered for screening on the Mobile Bus.

Mobile Bus screens

•              Glucose

•              BMI

•              Blood Pressure

•              Cholesterol

•              Vision

24 registered for the dental bus – Screening of Dental Hygiene. Since taking office, increasing the presence of these two mobile units within the community has been a top priority. I believe that preventative screening is a means to reduce our health care costs in the long run.

This is collaboration between SZV and the Ministry specifically CPS. With the assistance of AUC. The TEAM effort revolving around getting this program more active has been remarkable. Supervising physicians was Ruth Douglas with AUC physicians assisting under her supervision.

Thursday – Belvedere Community 4:00 – 8:00pm  However registration is only until 6:30pm
