St. Maartener Doran Joseph, a recipient of American University of the Caribbean (AUC) School of Medicine's St. Maarten Partnership Scholarships, learned on Friday that he matched into the internal medicine programme at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Friday was "Match Day," where medical students across the United States and around the globe learn where they will match to complete their residencies in the US upon graduation. Joseph is pursuing his studies at AUC.
