Last dance

National Institute of Arts concluded “Pffff”, a stunning display of artistic talent, at Philipsburg Cultural Center on Saturday night. “Performing, funny, familiar, forgotten, feelings (Pffff)” was a series of four performances, staged over three days at two different venues, displaying NIA’s broad range of art forms and genres by various age groups.

One feature was the debut performance of the first St. Maarten Youth Orchestra. NIA also said a bittersweet “see you later” to some of its stellar dancers who have completed high school and will likely leave the island, many of whom have been dancing from tender ages.
