ANGUILLA--Last week several meetings were held with key stakeholders, the government and the Governor’s office making sure that the island is prepared in the event of a hurricane.

Last week Monday, key stakeholders including Governor Tim Foy and Deputy Governor Perin Bradley did a table-top exercise of hurricane response.

On Saturday, Bradley chaired a meeting of the National Disaster Management Committee (NDMC), in which the committee undertook a thorough review of preparedness plans. Also this week, radio equipment is being tested in the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) communications room.
