Police Force representatives met with Health Department representatives on Wednesday to discuss the strengthening of the working relationship between the two departments in connection with the upcoming Heineken Regatta and the 2019 Carnival season, which are expected to attract large crowds.
The main focus of this meeting was to come together and discuss the setting up of multidisciplinary teams to tackle control on general hygiene. According to police, the meeting was informative and parties are planning to meet in the coming weeks to further work out this working relationship.
