InselAir airborne incident

WILLEMSTAD - InselAir International Inc. confirmed that one of its Fokker 50 aircraft had to return to St Maarten’s airport after developing an airborne engine shutdown. The plane safely returned to the airport.

The maintenance department of InselAir was proceeding with an investigation and would make the required repairs before the aircraft is put back in service.

The company noted that the flight crew applied correctly all of the procedures related to such incidents. InselAir international extended its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to its passengers
