Gov't's website still down,  Facebook portal for info 

 

POND ISLAND--Government's website - www.sint.maartengov.org - is still offline, however official information can still be gathered from government's Facebook page. 

  The official website has  been down since February 5. 

  Via the ICT Department, the website supplier CompuTech has informed Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin "all necessary steps are being taken to rectify the situation." 

  In the interim period, all notices, press releases, announcements, vacancies, events etc… are placed on Facebook.com/sxmgov) and on the government info page (GIP) printed in The Daily Herald newspaper. Some items are also broadcast on SXMGOV Radio Station 107.9FM.

The weekly Council of Ministers Press Briefing is still streamed live via the Facebook page and can be found on youtube.com/sxmgov

  The online appointment service of the Public Service Center (PSC) is still functioning. Residents can still make appointments for civil registry services via  

http://appointments.sintmaartengov.org/services. The same applies for online services of the Tax Administration via http://onlineservices.sintmaartengov.org.
