PHILIPSBURG--Police announced on Wednesday that they had received word that emergency number 911 was out of service. They immediately contacted the telephone providers about the issue.
The police were informed on Thursday that the technical issues surrounding the 911 emergency line had been resolved and the line had been fully restored.
