174 valid votes were cast for the Dutch Parliamentary elections.
PHILIPSBURG--The Netherlands went to the polls on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, for the parliamentary elections and Dutch nationals living in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom, including St. Maarten, also took part in the vote.
According to the local election representative, voter turnout on St. Maarten was 75%. Of the 234 registered voters, a total of 174 valid votes were cast for individual candidates. The voting took place at the Dutch Representative’s office on Frontstreet.
Additionally, there was one blank ballot, one invalid vote, and one envelope set aside during the count.
Detailed results by party and candidate are expected to be released on Friday, once official reporting procedures are complete.
