Bonaire’s streetsweeper machines used every morning in Kralendijk are now functioning better, so they no longer cause a dust nuisance in the town centre.
Government-owned waste management company Selibon apologised and said operators of the two Duvelo 850s it received five months ago were neglecting to clean the air filters as required. They have since been explained the importance of doing so frequently and reprimanded.
