Contracts signed for delivery of service vehicles for RCN

SABA/ST. EUSTATIUS--Government Service Caribbean Netherlands RCN has subcontracted the delivery of service vehicles on Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius.

This has resulted in a contract with three suppliers in Bonaire and two suppliers in St. Maarten for Saba and Statia.

In Bonaire, the vehicles will be delivered by Akkermans Auto Supplies B.V., Auto City B.V. and Cicilia Motors; and in St. Maarten contracts were signed with Motorworld/ Caribbean Auto and Saint Martin Cars.

The contracts are signed for the period of two years with the possibility for to extend the contract period by one year for three years in a row.

RCN said it is committed to fair competition and transparency and would like to – through the signing of these contracts – stimulate the local markets.
