An 18-foot Christmas tree has been placed at Walter Plantz Square in Philipsburg. The beach and square will be lit-up for the holiday season. Every Friday, the square will host Happy Hour @ Walter to the tunes of DJ Em and restaurants will be open to cater to residents and visitors. Free candy and Christmas cookies will be given out to children. There will be a photo opportunity with “Walter loves Christmas.” Parking is available near the square.
