Chamber lays out plans to formateur

PHILIPSBURG--St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry (COCI) discussed its current status since the passing of Hurricane Irma on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, during a meeting with formateur Theo Heyliger on Thursday.

  During its meeting the Chamber also discussed the bottlenecks it may be facing. The future plans of the Chamber were also “laid out on the table” and “tackled by both parties to ensure that together St. Maarten is heading down the right path,” the Chamber said in its release.

  Heyliger has been meeting with several stakeholders since his appointment as formateur, including the management of TelEm Group and general pension fund administrator APS, amongst others.
