SIMPSON BAY--The annual “Causeway Jump Up” took place on Saturday. A large crowd participated in the event this year. The session started and ended on schedule. Three persons were arrested for their misbehaviour. They were taken to the police station and given a stiff fine totalling NAf. 1,765. What was seen as an impossible task became conceivable when the host of the Road to Carnival party said the “first person to jump in the sea will get a season pass to Carnival” and Tomas Joel Sanchez took to the water to win the pass. He is seen here with Carnival Foundation marketing assistant Ragani Mahabiersing.
