PHILIPSBURG--St. Maarten United Bus Drivers Association is calling all bus drivers about the general elections for board members set for Sunday, October 28.
Members are expected to elect the President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the board.
Members of the association had until October 22 to fill out a form and put their names forward as candidates. Drivers can still become a member of the association and would be able to cast a vote for the new three-year-term board before October 28.
The elections will take place at the WIFOL building from 2:00 to 5:00pm. Drivers who are not members are not allowed to vote, but can attend future meetings of the association.
