Bible Baptist Church’s sister Gloria Hazel conducted a song service to a large group of children that attended the Vacation Bible School held in past weeks. Many other churches in St. Eustatius, among which were Bethel Methodist and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, also held their Vacation Bible School for 2017 during the earlier part of the summer vacation, but Bible Baptist Church usually holds its Bible School during the latter part of the break. Fifty children or more turned out this time around. They were taught lessons about the Bible, ethical behaviour, how to conduct themselves in public, and other lessons to become better citizens in the community.
