ANGUILLA--The Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) has announced a new partnership with Virgin Holidays, the largest and most successful transatlantic tour operator in the United Kingdom and a market leader for travel to the USA and the Caribbean.

The new programme is launched with stylish accommodation at three very different properties in Anguilla: Carimar Beach Club, Frangipani Beach Resort and the Reef by CuisinArt. There is also potential to expand in the future.

Virgin Atlantic flies four times per week from London Gatwick to Antigua. Air France-KLM, which has recently purchased a 31 per cent stake in Virgin Atlantic, also offers convenient flights to St. Maarten from the UK via Paris.

ATB Chairperson Donna Bankssaid, “This is fantastic news for Anguilla, to have one of the UK’s largest tour operators launch a new programme to the island just nine months on from Hurricane Irma; it just goes to show how far the island has come in such a short time. We look forward to giving Virgin Holidays’ guests a warm Anguilla welcome throughout the coming months and years ahead.”

Virgin Holidays Destination Manager – Caribbean, Stephen Gilchrist said: “Virgin Holidays is thrilled to be able to offer holidaymakers the chance to experience the beautiful island of Anguilla. The addition of the island in our new Caribbean brochure shows our commitment to the region, and we can’t wait for people to enjoy the authentic Caribbean for themselves.”
