Super Bowl Sunday Hotspots

The favourite Sunday of football lovers is almost upon us, and St. Maarten’s hottest bars and restaurants are gearing up for their Super Bowl Sunday events. Not as invested in the big game? No problem – even slightly less fanatic fans will have a ball at these not-to-be-missed viewing parties.

Where: Astra
When: Astra’s Super Bowl Viewing Party starts when the big game kicks off at 7:30pm on Sunday, February 12.
What: The trendy open-air restaurant will livestream the game on two big TV screens, so you won’t miss a minute of the match. Make sure you come early to ensure a great spot overlooking both the game and Simpson Bay Lagoon.
Touchdown Thirst: 2-for-1 beers, along with Astra’s extensive cocktail and drinks menu, guarantee to quench the thirstiest patrons. Think 11 signature martinis, Latin cocktails such as mojitos and margaritas, three gin and tonic variations, bubbles, shooters, and mocktails.Bonus: There will be plenty flavoured hookahs available.
Match Munchies: Football fans can enjoy Astra’s delicious regular menu items such as their famous lava grilled lobster tail, crispy calamari, or lollipop chicken.

Where: Buccaneer Beach Bar

When: The big event officially starts at 7:30pm, but beachgoers can enjoy the #1 beach bar from 11:00am onwards.

What: At this popular beach bar, you can watch the game with your toes in the sand. Seating and a big cinema screen will be set up on the stage. Four flat screen TVs will be set up around the bar and in the dining area to ensure patrons always have a clear view of their favourite team.
Touchdown Thirst: All that adrenaline making you thirsty? Buccaneer has got you covered with Coors Light bucket specials for 10. Tip: Fans decked out in their favourite team gear get a free Coors Light.
Match Munchies: Buccaneer Beach Bar will offer platter specials with any snack on the menu alongside their regular full grill and pizza menu.

Where: Casino Royale
When: The casino’s doors open at 6:30pm on game day and the all-you-can-eat buffet opens for business at 7:00pm. The event’s wristbands will be available now through February 12 at their VIP Host Desk. Tip: First 100 purchased tickets will receive a free BIG GAME Shirt.
What: Recently voted #1 casino on the island, Casino Royale is home to the largest theatre with one mega screen set up for game day and seven additional screens. There will be multiple screens on the casino’s gaming floor. Not only will patrons be able to cheer on their favourite players, but they can also try their luck with a US $10 free play on the big day.
Touchdown Thirst: For US $50 per person, fans can eat and drink whatever and however much they like. There will be draft beer and an open bar, what else could you want?
Match Munchies: The all-you-can-eat buffet includes all your favourite stadium snacks.

Where: Mary’s Boon
When: Of course, football fans are welcome anytime for some fun in the sun, but the Super Bowl specials will be available from 7:00pm onwards.
What: Come watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Philadelphia Eagles on four jumbo TV screens in comfortable Boon restaurant or watch from the beach on the mega screen set up in front of the ocean.
Touchdown Thirst: Mary’s Boon will offer their regular wide extension of drink options, along with $15 beer buckets and mix drink specials.
Match Munchies: You sure won’t get hungry at Mary’s Boon, with their special Super Bowl menu including mini sliders and chicken wings.

Where: Roxxy Beach
When: The beach bar and restaurant will be open from 11:00am for their famous Sunday Brunch. From 5:00pm onwards, patrons can enjoy the Super Bowl specials so you can relax and watch the sunset before the 7:30pm kick-off. DJs Will Dilmar and Mr. Perfect will ensure good music and good vibes between 2:00 and 7:30pm – and alla dat without an entrance fee.
What: Roxxy Beach boasts the biggest screen on the beach, set up so that fans can watch with their feet in the sand, or anywhere from the venue. Bonus: Roxxy has truly thought of everything and has indoor seating options in case of rain.
Touchdown Thirst: Super Bowl and drinks go hand-in-hand. That is why Roxxy Beach offers fans all day drink specials such as US $10 Carib beer buckets, and $9 Cointreau and Casamigos margaritas.
Match Munchies: All that cheering got you hungry? No problem. Roxxy’s special Super Bowl menu offers several tapas, nachos, sandwiches, and sharing plates with or without BBQ chicken wings.

Where: Soggy Dollar Bar
When: Soggy’s bar will open from 4:00pm and happy hour starts at 5:00pm with $1 beers, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the lagoon breeze and get settled before the game starts.
What: Your favourite lagoon-side and open-air bar will show the game on two big screens with no entrance fee.
Touchdown Thirst: Soggy Dollar Bar has got you covered with $2 Carib beers from 7:00pm and free shots to celebrate every touchdown.
Match Munchies: The staff at Soggy will be ready to feed hungry football fans with an assortment of snacks from Sharisa’s Kitchen.

Where: Sunset Beach Bar
When: The “Suppa” Bowl is back! The doors open at 6:30pm with free entrance, lots of food and drink specials, family activities and a great atmosphere.
Bonus: The Hot Chocolate Band will entertain the crowd from 4:00 to 7:00pm, while the children get their faces painted for an extra wow-factor.
What: There will be screens throughout the venue, but the highlight will be the “Suppa” screen – the largest on the island showing the big game. Feel like you’re at home with couch seating, high tables, large group tables or watch from the bar – and, of course, an amazing sound and light system that will enhance the halftime show experience.
Touchdown Thirst: Sunset will offer US $3 Bud and Bud Light beer specials and $5 Tito’s drink specials, alongside their famous cocktails.
Match Munchies: Can’t have a Super Bowl without wings and pizza! Wings will be on special all game long and patrons can order large and delicious for $10. There will also be a “Suppa” Snack Platter – a combo of wings, mozzarella sticks, nachos and more. A great deal you can’t pass up!

Where: Tap & Still
When: The restaurant will be open for business all day, giving you time to sip Tap & Still’s signature beers and mingle before the 7:30pm kick-off.
What: In the sea of options and huge TV screens, Tap & Still will set up five screens among their three bars. Bonus: A live DJ will keep the party going during and after the game.
Touchdown Thirst: $20 Bud Light buckets and $6 Tito’s drinks will keep you hydrated all game long. Shots girls will be giving away Jagers, Bud Light and Tito flags for every touchdown!
Match Munchies: Tap & Still’s is famous for their $8 burgers and fresh cut fries!

Where: Veranda
When: Football fans are welcome all day to enjoy Veranda’s great ambiance, awesome service and beautiful beach location. The Super Bowl event starts at 6:00pm.
What: The game will be shown live on two full large HD screens.
Touchdown Thirst: Veranda will offer Bud Light beer bucket specials alongside their extensive drinks menu to quench that game-day-thirst.
Match Munchies: No one will go hungry with mozzarella sticks, cheese fries, wings buckets, BBQ pulled pork sliders, hot dogs, chicken legs, and more.
