Health, Sport & Culture Expo

The John Cooper Jose Lake Ball Park came alive this past weekend as the divisions of Sport, Culture, and Collective Prevention Services successfully hosted the annual Health, Sport & Culture Expo. The highly anticipated event brought together residents of all ages for an exciting celebration of wellness, physical activity, and cultural pride.

With a full day of interactive activities, fitness demonstrations, health screenings, and cultural showcases, the expo met its goal of inspiring healthier lifestyles while honouring the island’s rich heritage. Local organizations, performers, and wellness professionals joined forces to offer something for everyone – from dance and martial arts to traditional music, healthy food vendors, and educational booths.

Organizers praised the strong community turnout and collaborative spirit, calling the event a reflection of St. Maarten’s commitment to holistic wellbeing and unity through culture and sport. Plans are already underway to expand next year’s edition, further strengthening the event’s role as a cornerstone of community engagement and healthy living.
