Resort Talent Sign-On Incentive Program to Support Local Hospitality Recruitment

Sonesta Resorts St. Maarten is pleased to announce the introduction of its Resort Talent Sign-On Incentive Program, a strategic initiative designed to support the recruitment and retention of skilled hospitality professionals across its resorts. Beginning December 1, 2025, new full-time employees hired into Housekeeping, Stewarding, Kitchen and Front Desk roles will be eligible to receive a Cg. 1,000 NET sign-on incentive, designed to reward strong performance and long-term commitment

The incentive will be paid in two instalments: Cg. 500 NET after the successful completion of 90 days of employment, followed by Cg. 500 NET after one year of employment, contingent upon a successful performance evaluation and renewal of the employment contract for an additional year. This programme complements Sonesta Resorts St. Maarten’s continued dedication to elevating guest service standards by building strong, stable and well-supported operational teams.

“Staffing excellence is the foundation of exceptional guest experiences,” said Saro Spadaro, president and CEO of The Maho Group. “The new Sign-On Incentive Program reflects our commitment to attracting dedicated talent and rewarding those who choose to build their careers with us, while continuing to invest in our local workforce.

Sonesta Resorts St. Maarten is home to two premier all-inclusive resorts: the adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort and the family-friendly Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa. Located just minutes from Princess Juliana International Airport on St. Maarten’s south-west shore, the resorts offer a distinctive blend of island charm, modern accommodations and exceptional service, making Sonesta a leading hospitality employer and destination in the Dutch Caribbean.

The Resort Talent Sign-On Incentive Program is available to new full-time hires only in eligible departments. Candidates whose job applications were received between November 15 and November 30, 2025, will automatically qualify, even if their applications have not yet been processed. Former employees may become eligible following a six-month separation period. Existing employees who resign and reapply to obtain the incentive are not eligible.

The programme will remain in effect until further notice. For more information or to apply, interested candidates may contact Sonesta Resorts St. Maarten’s Human Resources Department at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
