The popular regional platform Interact Live Stream is focusing on preparations for its most prestigious event of the year – The Interact Legend Award Gala Ceremony – set to take place on Sunday, December 7, at the luxurious J.W. Marriott Beach Resort & Spa in Dawn Beach.
Founder and host Charles Jeffrey Richardson has announced that the bi-weekly Legend Interviews will resume after the gala event, allowing the team to give full attention to this celebration of excellence, influence, and legacy across the Caribbean. “We’re celebrating our icons, our legends, and our heroes – the people who’ve made a lasting impact in our communities and beyond. This event is about giving flowers to these outstanding individuals while they are still alive,” said Richardson.
The Interact Legend Award Gala promises to be an elegant and heartfelt evening featuring powerful tributes, award presentations, and public participation through online voting. All nominees for the Legend Award have been guests on Interact’s Facebook Live Stream series over the past year – interviews that remain available for online viewing on their YouTube channel @interactlivestream.
These interviews were held at different locations, including Divi Little Bay Beach Resort, Sea View Beach Hotel, Pasanggrahan Royal Guesthouse, Oyster Bay Beach Resort, J.W. Marriott Beach Resort & Spa, L’Esperance Hotel, and The Coffee Lounge.
This year’s ceremony will include online public voting, giving the community a chance to choose who will be crowned the “Most Popular” – a person whose life and work have left a meaningful imprint on others. In addition, the gala will announce the recipient of the “Most Exceptional” award, recognizing an individual who has demonstrated humility, character and servanthood. This particular award is selected by the Interact Committee.
More than a show – a movement
What began as a Facebook Live platform has grown into a powerful space for storytelling, recognition, and Caribbean pride. Interact Live Stream has provided visibility to over 50 individuals this past year, sharing their journeys, struggles, and triumphs.
“This event is more than just a show,” Richardson notes. “It’s a platform for gratitude.
