If you’re a fan of good reggae vibes and great music, Emilio Wilson Park is where you need to be on Saturday, June 3rd, starting at 9:00pm. Connis TV proudly presents a launch Reggae Party for a night filled with uplifting music and the launch of Dread’I’s captivating new song, ‘Broken Bones.’ The song inspires a message of kindness, peace and love, urging us to stop hurting one another and embrace empathy.

In addition to Dread’I’s performance, there is an incredible line-up of talent, both new and old. Joining the stage are three other outstanding artists: Kevin Brennan, also known as KayJayBee, Essence, and Soley. Each artist will bring their unique style and sound, providing an electrifying atmosphere filled with a variety of reggae melodies. Get ready to immerse yourself in the infectious rhythms that will make your body move and your soul sing.

Dread’I, a reggae veteran originally from Dominica, has been an influential figure in the Caribbean music industry since his debut album, ‘Scratch Your Back,’ in 1999. With his twelfth album on the horizon, Dread’I continues to inspire listeners with his powerful lyrics and genuine passion for spreading positive vibrations. According to the artist, ‘Broken Bones’ sheds light on the pain we endure and urges us to connect with our inner souls. Co-written by Kevin Brennan, this song is a plea to recognise the hurt within ourselves and others.

Emilio Wilson Park, a breathtaking venue we all know and love, serves as the perfect backdrop to convey the essence of Dread’I’s music. The park’s serene environment, combined with the soulful sounds of reggae, creates a harmonious connection between music and nature. Backing Dread’I and the other talented performers is an exceptional band comprised of Neville (Fatts) James on the trombone, George on the Sax, Apiani on the trumpet, Tifari on the violin, Louis on the drums, Amin on the guitar, and Carl Laldee on the bass. And keep an ear out for a surprise MC and other exciting surprises that will further elevate the night’s entertainment.
