The final stretch of St. Maarten Carnival 55 is here, bringing some of the most anticipated events on the calendar. From massive concerts and cultural celebrations to the iconic road experiences, this week captures the true spirit, energy, and unity of Carnival.

THURSDAY, APRIL 23 – KONCERT X – 9:00 PM

The week kicks off with the highly anticipated return of Koncert X, led by Kelvin James. Known for its nonstop format, the event delivers a seamless musical experience powered by a single backing band, allowing artistes to flow continuously from one performance to the next. This year’s edition expands its reach with a mix of local and international talent, while maintaining a strong focus on showcasing St. Maarten’s artistry. With enhanced production, surprise appearances, and a vibrant Caribbean sound, Koncert X continues to establish itself as a unique and immersive concert experience within Carnival.

FRIDAY, APRIL 24 – ONE LOVE REGGAE CONCERT – 8:00 PM

Friday night brings conscious vibes and powerful performances with the One Love Reggae Concert. Headlined by Morgan Heritage, the multi-Grammy Award-winning reggae group, the event promises a night rooted in messages of unity, love, and cultural expression. With additional performances by rising reggae talent D’Yani, the Festival Village transforms into a hub of pulsating rhythms and positive energy, celebrating the global influence of reggae music.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25 – II BROTHERS ENTERTAINMENT CONCERT: THE REUNION – 8:00 PM

Saturday night delivers high-energy Caribbean entertainment with “The Reunion,” hosted by II Brothers Entertainment as they celebrate five years of impact. Featuring a dynamic line-up of regional artistes including Trix Migos & Hussey, Dcamp & Lewis Melo, 1T1 & Theoma, and many more, the show is driven by the infectious sounds of bouyon music – one of the fastest-growing genres in the Caribbean. Beyond the stage, the event represents a broader mission to elevate St. Maarten Carnival on the regional and international scene, blending tourism, culture, and pure energy into one unforgettable experience.

SUNDAY, APRIL 26 – FLAG FEST – 8:00 PM

Sunday night belongs to one of Carnival’s most electrifying events: Flag Fest. A true celebration of cultural pride and Caribbean unity, the event brings together patrons from across the region and beyond, all proudly representing their national flags. With performances from top-tier bands and artistes such as Triple Kay International, Kes The Band, and Signal Band, the atmosphere is defined by nonstop energy, vibrant colours, and powerful crowd connection. In a major twist for Carnival 55, Flag Fest transitions directly into J’ouvert Morning, creating an extended, high-energy experience that connects two of Carnival’s biggest moments into one continuous celebration.

MONDAY, APRIL 27 – J’OUVERT MORNING JUMP UP – 4:00 AM

In the early hours of Monday, the road comes alive for the legendary J’ouvert Morning Jump Up. Starting from Festival Village, revellers take to the streets of Philipsburg covered in paint, powder, and pure joy. Known for its raw, unfiltered energy, J’ouvert is a defining Carnival tradition – an expression of freedom, unity, and cultural celebration that continues to resonate across generations.

MONDAY, APRIL 27 – YOUTH EXTRAVAGANZA – 8:00 PM

Later that evening, the spotlight shifts to the next generation with Youth Extravaganza. Featuring 16 acts from talented young performers ages 13 to 21, the show highlights dance, music, rap, and more. A long-standing Carnival platform, the event continues to nurture emerging talent while giving audiences a glimpse into the future of St. Maarten’s entertainment scene. With returning personalities like MC Rummer and guest performer Jay Mills, the night promises inspiration, creativity, and fresh energy.

TUESDAY, APRIL 28 – SOCA RUMBLE – 9:00 PM

Tuesday night turns up the tempo with Soca Rumble, delivering high-energy performances and infectious rhythms that keep the Carnival spirit alive. As one of the most anticipated party events of the week, Soca Rumble brings together top DJs and performers for a night of nonstop dancing and vibrant Caribbean vibes.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29 – LATIN NIGHT (NOCHE LATINA) – 8:00 PM

Midweek celebrations take on an international flair with Latin Night, also known as Noche Latina. This high-level production showcases a diverse mix of Latin genres including salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton. With performances by Grupo Adolescentes, Sujeto Oro 24, Dalvin La Melodía, and Don Miguelo, the event highlights the strong cultural influence of the Latin community while delivering a visually dynamic and musically rich experience.

THURSDAY, APRIL 30 – GRAND CARNIVAL PARADE – 12:00 PM

The crown jewel of Carnival takes the road on Thursday with the Grand Carnival Parade. Featuring elaborately designed costumes, vibrant troupes, and pulsating music, the parade represents the ultimate expression of St. Maarten’s culture and identity. The route winds through Philipsburg, showcasing creativity, heritage, and the enduring spirit of Carnival in one spectacular display. Thousands of spectators are expected.

FRIDAY, MAY 1 – LABOUR DAY LIGHTED PARADE – 7:00 PM

A historic first is the Labour Day Lighted Parade. Introducing a night-time road experience, the parade transforms the streets into a glowing spectacle of illuminated costumes, trucks, and performances. Designed to complement the traditional Grand Parade, this new addition brings a fresh visual dimension to Carnival, blending innovation with tradition as the island celebrates 55 years of culture, music, and unity.

As this week unfolds, keep in mind the nonstop energy doesn’t end. May 2 is classic Night of the Hitmakers, May 3 is cultural Bacchanal Sunday, May 4 is the epic DJ Takeover Concert and then the grand finale this year is the Closing Last Lap Jump Up’ on May 5.
