Calling all domino enthusiasts

~ Last day to register for the tournament ~

Come out tonight to register and warm up for the Dewar’s Stones & Whiskey competition! Today, Thursday, March 23, is the last day to register to test your domino skills and claim victory! Games, music and Dewar’s specials will be going on all weekend at Booth 36 in the Joycelyn Arndell Festival Village.

The preliminary elimination games will take place tomorrow, Friday, March 24 – participants will compete in the finals, and three lucky winners will claim their prizes on Saturday, March 25.

The first-place winner will receive $250 cash, two carnival season passes and two bottles of Dewar’s 12 Whiskey; second-place will go home with $250 cash and two bottles of Dewar’s 12 Whiskey; and third-place will receive two bottles of Dewar’s 8 Whiskey.

Dominoes is a very popular game that can be played by single players, partners, or even as a team.

Over the past years, playing dominoes became even more popular with various tournaments throughout the island. After the success of their last tournament, Where the Flex was approached by Dewar’s to do a tournament in combination with their whiskey – hence the name “Stones and Whiskey”. Of course, that means there will be plenty of whiskey specials on all three tournament days with Dewar’s White Label, Dewar’s Caribbean Blend and Dewar’s 12.

The grill will be lit nightly and will offer choices of BBQ Chicken Wings, Legs, Ribs, Fish and our famous Grilled BBQ Pigtails. On Saturday, the fun will start at noon with lunch where you can get all our favourite meats or seafood served with rice, salads and different sides. During the games, players and spectators will enjoy soft and entertaining background music without distracting the players. After the games, the party starts with plenty of music and, of course, plenty of Dewar’s Whiskey.

Registration fee is $40 per team – contact +1 (721) 527-5983 to register.
