A thank you note from Caribbean Eagles

A thank you note from Caribbean Eagles

Dear Caribbean Eagles family,

Wishing you all a splendid and blessed weekend!

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who played a crucial role in making Caribbean Eagles’ 15th Annual SXM Bike Fest an incredible success. Your unwavering support, encouraging words and active participation truly made a difference. To all who lent a helping hand and played their part, your contribution did not go unnoticed. Without each and every one of you, the Bike Fest would not have been possible.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our #1 traffic team for ensuring our safety during all the rides. And, of course, I wish to extend our gratitude towards Soggy Dollar Bar and Black Cross for hosting our fabulous parties. As the saying goes, respect is earned through action, not self-gratification. Our unity as a team stems from the mutual respect, trust and care we have for one another. Witnessing our plans come to fruition and bringing joy to people's lives is truly rewarding.

A heartfelt thank-you to Caribbean Eagles for believing both in yourselves and in me. I am honoured to lead such a dedicated and passionate team. A special mention goes out to Mother Nature – despite the forecast predicting heavy rainfall all weekend, we were blessed with clear skies, adding another layer of joy to the festivities.

This year's Bike Fest marked a milestone as the biggest ever, hosting 250 attendees from around the globe. Noteworthy mentions include the enduring support from bikers in St. Croix and Monaco, who celebrated their 10th consecutive year with us. A heartfelt salute to the bikers from Martinique, who haven't missed a single Bike Fest in 15 years.

The games on the beach were a massive hit, complemented by the diverse range of music styles experienced over the four days. Our attendees couldn't stop raving about the delectable food unique to SXM, setting our Bike Fest apart from others.

This year, we were all lucky enough to witness a heart-warming moment: John proposed to Tania during the festivities, and she joyfully accepted. From Luxemburg and Germany, this biker couple added a special touch to our event. We also witnessed an inspiring story of dedication this time around: A Caribbean Eagle from Martinique, despite battling illness, was so excited to attend that she didn't let it stop her, bringing her IV along for the ride.

In closing, a final but significant thank-you goes out to our sponsors, whose support is invaluable. Remember, we are only as strong as we are united, and your collective efforts have made us stronger than ever.

With honour and respect,

The Bike Fest Organiser
