Final booth-holder meeting Tuesday

PHILIPSBURG--St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) is inviting all Carnival 2017 booth-holders to their final meeting before the 2017 Carnival season gets underway in Dutch St. Maarten, at University of St. Maarten (USM) room 202 at 7:00pm Tuesday.

This meeting will be the last of three that are held annually to outline all regulations for booth-holders. It is also the final meeting before the March 1 deadline for booth-holders to make full payment for the booths that have been allotted to them. In this meeting they will also be briefed on regulations regarding garbage removal, fire safety regulations, beverage retailing and overall booth operations in the Carnival Village.

“It is essential that booth-holders attend this meeting to receive relevant information. We will still be in contact with them leading up to Carnival, but this meeting is absolutely vital as we move forward. In particular, we are asking booth-holders to adhere to the March 1 deadline for full payment for the booth that has been allotted to them, to avoid any unfortunate circumstances,” SCDF said.
