SOUTH REWARD--Milton Peters College (MPC) and Sundial School have reported a significant improvement in preliminary examination results for the 2025-2026 academic year, with the overall pass rate of both schools increasing from 57% last year to 68% this year following a series of targeted academic interventions implemented after the release of the 2024-2025 examination results.

ANSE MARCEL--Committee Social et Économique (CSE), the union supporting the 122 employees left out on the streets after the abrupt closure of the former Secrets Hotel, renamed Saint Martin Beach Resort, in Anse Marcel in December 2025, has warned of a major social scandal of “exceptional gravity.”

PHILIPSBURG--Reports circulating on social media Tuesday claiming that the Burger King restaurant on Bush Road was on fire have been described as inaccurate by the restaurant's owner, who says the building itself was never threatened and operations continue as normal.
