Seniors Water Aerobics

The St. Maarten Seniors and Pensioners Association and St. Maarten National Sports Institute invite all pensioners and seniors to come out and join them at Raoul Illidge Sports Complex every Friday from 4:00 to 5:00pm with exercise in the children’s pool under supervision of a trained and licensed physiotherapist. Come and have fun and meet some new friends.

Community Development, Family and Humanitarian Affairs Department (CDFHA) and the Salvation Army are in need of contractors, skilled workers i.e. carpenters, masons, helpers, and site supervisors to participate in the home repair relief program.  Non-violent resistance training

Non-violent resistance training for parents of children age 8 to 12 years, who exhibit self-destructive and or aggressive behaviour will be given  by SFPO (St. Maarten’s Foundation for Psychologists and “Orthopedagogen”)

The NVR method contributes to a decrease in escalating situations within the family, school setting, and within the community, It also leads to the strengthening of relationships between family members and between teachers and students. Using the NVR method, increases the parents parental presence in children’s lives.
